Sigh. I was re-opening this thread that went suicidal. In order to prevent it from doing it again, I removed the post in question that caused the "suicide" and posts that referred to it (since it wouldn't have made sense to keep them there). So lighten up and help the original poster out instead of focusing on that. It wasn't a question of your honour but rather a question of keeping a good discussion going. Geez.

And I'm surprised no one mentioned ProcessExplorer (Sysinternals as well I believe). This one shows where applications are and what they are calling. Short of a Reverse Engineer, this might be one way to see what's "underneath".
