i don't know if this is just me, but IMHO we don't need a freeking uzi for home defense -- i was watching the Terminator last night, and i was remembering all the weapons that could be easily bought... it was kind of mind blowing... and then i watched swat, and LMAO when i realized that the police had to go to these same stores to get their automatic weapons....

personally, i am all for the sword for home defense...

very interesting read tho, (after i got back up after tripping on nihil's .........'s )

The "assault weapons" being debated now are not fully automatic.
BTW, I believe that Oswald assasinated Kennedy with a bolt action rifle, and
that is not considered an "assault" weapon.
Interesting but the site kinda confuses me it says "the federal law says this......."
and then says "Firearms laws change frequently, and vary from state to state" Don't federal laws take precedence over state laws? I was under the impression that possesion/purchase of weapons like tech9s ar15s/m16 ak47s etc was a state to state thing? Some states very easy to get and some not?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
The international ban against torturing prisoners of war does not necessarily apply to suspects detained in America\'s war on terror, Attorney General John Ashcroft told a Senate oversight committee

Not only that, but it was a cheap Italian import. Somehow he still managed to do what he did with lethal efficiency. Discovery channel did a test, with a man of the same build and stature, with the same rifle, and they decided after many tests that it was very possible for him to hit with the accuracy he did.
    I saw that too.
