    Question SoftICE help plz

    How to run Softice 4.5 under Windows Xp pro, When i run softice from start>programs, a command window opens and exits immediately.I have also tried compatibility settings-but it won't work
    all your base belong to us.

    Read the help file that came with it and you have to run it in the command prompt.

    As far as I remember SoftICE should start before Windows so you need to have it somewhere in a batch file. Maybe newer version can be started from within the OS.

    P.S. I'm curious on what kind of forensics SoftICE is useful for.. I've never thought of the program like that.
