It boils down to this, and where I differ from the Democrats: I think everyone did what they could, no one was seriously negligent and fingers can be pointed to Bush, Clinton, Gore, Rice, and everybody right to the cop at ground Zero. And nothing could have prevented it outside of a pre-existing patriot act and hard line communist style KGB oversight. The Americans didn't deserve it because their leader "isolated" the world; they got it because they slept. And most of the negative impact from 9/11 is the partisan political agenda to prove all the above is the opposite of what I just said.

The fact that Saudi Arabia pleaded to have these people returned is not my idea of "something horribly wrong." And the commission and all those involved don't think so either. So what? Are we insinuating a terrorist got away? That we shuffled off the nest of Al Queda? Al Queda is at the throats of the Saudi's as well and their war front is more dangerous than ours.

ON what grounds would the Bin Laden family members have been detained for questioning? What questions would you have asked?

    Q: "Where is Bin Laden?"
    A: "I don't know."
Q: I think you might know where Bin Laden, is so I'll ask again; "Where is Bin Laden?"
A: I want to speak to my lawyer."

So much for questioning. And the Bush Administration would have been labled as a bunch of Racial Profiling bastages that were falsely improsining the Bin Laden family members. Astronomic law suits would have ensued and the family members would have still been allowed to depart the country, because there was no hard evidence linking the family members to acts of terrorism, with which to charge them at the time. Well I am not aware of any hard evidence anyway. You would think that the Dems would be happy that Bush did not violate the Bin Ladens rights of freedom. I never thought I would see the day where the Democrats actually supported imprisioning and questioning of individuals with political ties.
The mentally handicaped are persecuted in this great country, and I say rightfully so! These people are NUTS!!!!
