help me out
well ...im a new to unix...well my 3 hardisc partitions are not getting mounted..its saying that wrong fs type.....well does formatting it in windows rectify that problem?

hmmm go to linuxiso.org and get an updated version of Redhat

RedHat is a Linux, not a Unix.
Linux is often called a "descendent" of Unix.
RedHat 7.1 is an older version and there are newer versions that you can download from http://www.linuxiso.org.
What is the File System on those 3 partitions you are trying to mount?

well the filesystem is FAT32.....

Ok what your problem was is that you made the partitions use i assume the fdisk command in windows. FAT32 is a windows partition there for it will not run Linux. I suggest downloaded the latest Redhat version from http://www.linuxiso.org then useing the RH (redhat) partition tool to create the partitions.
