Thread: What Browser?

  1. #11
The allready mentioned k-meleon is a nice alternative.
I used it for a while and allthough it misses some functionality its a speedy lightweight browser.
You can get it at http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

You can't. I have dug and dug, and you have to let it open with IE. Doesn't matter to much, you can use IE for that and firefox for everything else. You can use MYIE2 to view sites that require IE as it runs the IE engine, but has much better security features.

    Hi
U can use netscape 7 or higher for all the web browsing and and downloads. It is better than IE and functions smoothly. Moreover it has its messenger with it too.

Although you have to let it use IE, nothing is stopping you from blocking IE in your firewall that way it won't connect.

At least thats what i did.
