for the record: WYSIWYG stands for What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get,

which is basically programs like frontpage and dreamweaver that show your webpage as you build it, and contain many automated functions. if you dont know html, and you really want to learn, check out this link... http://antionline.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=261463

    Hi Zombie-

If he's up to it, he can go for Apache. I take back my Xitami comment, he is on slack. I suggested it because it doesn't seem like he is the most experienced "developer", and Xitami is a typical windows install, and the php install is automated well with Xitami IIRC.

No beefs with Apache, I use it myself.

Hex: Whenever you look at sites, you can always view the source of the pages you see. Check your browser menus for "view source". That will spit out the HTML source of the page, which is how I learned HTML.
    That and GoLive

I'm glad you decided to learn html and not go tothe lame side of builders that do it for you.one of the biggest problems that you will have with html are the tables. Especially if building a more complex webpage with tables all over the place. But mostly, once you learn html you will want to learn css, javascript, or whatever since html leaves you dry these days!

    good luck- viel glueck!
