Test completed, IP proven to be found by a simple netstat -n, host found with netstat -a. =)

OK....come on give....was it traceable or not? You guys got me hanging here.

With out giving the actual IP or anything...can you give some details.???

I would assume AIM acts in the same fashion...
EDIT: Yup it gave my full IP. Not that I care since 10-15 minutes from now it will be poof and possibly be someone elses due to my dial up, but yeah he got it. And it was right.

With AIM AOL proxy:
Use this setting for maximum security. This indicates that if a File Transfer or Direct IM proposal is accepted by you or your buddy, your IP address is not revealed. Performance may be slower, and this will not work if your buddy is using older software.
I wonder why MSN isn't that smart.
