I don't use Shareaza, but i assume it works the same way winmx and the like do. So you have a shared folder or directory and when you have the application running others can browse that share. Hence incoming connections, even if no uploading is going on.
If you are getting incoming connections when the application is closed, i would start to worry perhaps.
