Thread: an election question

  1. #11
Just a quick question (and I don't wanna sound mean or rude) but what difference would it make to you (being you live in India) who was elected? I mean, no offense or anything.. but currently no foreign policy other than typical trading is going on concerning India. Just my thought's, sorry if I came across as rude .
no it was not rude, hmmm how does it concern india . you rembember outsourcing as an issue in the elections this year,so if out sourcing gets stopped then we gonna loose some jobs here , also to mention the vise we get to US ,student ,tourist and buisiness , lots of it does concern , the stock market and a lots of other things.

Hrmm, that's correct but Bush and Kerry share virtually the same opinions on those particular issues (atleast on foreign students, student visa's, tourism, etc).

    Hi,

ou rembember outsourcing as an issue in the elections this year,so if out sourcing gets stopped then we gonna loose some jobs here
Hey yourdeadin don't worry about Outsourcing ....................no matter what government get elected can't do much about it .........................a Company Looks for profit thast it ......and you can't stop MNC's form outsourcing if they really want to ....................though there are some areas that i feel should not be outsourced.

The Current Outsouceing Drama is the same as the Chinese Manufacturing Units (coz their products were cheap and our Units were not able to compete ) generated in the 1980 's ...................people made a hue and cry about it .............now everybody around the world buys chinese goods ..............//me looks around the house

it's more of political propogand ....................you can't stop a private sector company for doing it until the company itself wants to ......................until there is profit they will do that .

My concern though is ther should be laws regarding what should be outsourced and what shouldn't be .....................thast more important than trying to stop it alltogether.

Oo and last time i checked Bush was more in favour of outsourcing than Kerry .............

ust a quick question (and I don't wanna sound mean or rude) but what difference would it make to you (being you live in India) who was elected? I mean, no offense or anything.. but currently no foreign policy other than typical trading is going on concerning India. Just my thought's, sorry if I came across as rude.
Spyder world now has become a small place........... IMHO it might not matter to US who gets elected in india or Pakistan or Kazakistan .................but to them it does ..................
Take for examlpe Study ......US is the Number one dstination For Indian Students for
    Higher studies .

your answer: Bush's rhetoric aided millions to begin hating muslims for no particular reason. India has a **** load of muslims.

And don't argue, Bush referring to the terrorists as "muslims" countless times on the air has done this.

I second that, he has done that numerous times. I guess I can see your point, since most of India is muslim. Dunno why I didn't see that in the first place, but thanks anyways er0k

    Hi Spyder32 ,

I guess I can see your point, since most of India is muslim.
Since when most of India is muslim ?..............India is a mutli-ethical community ..............There are mostly hindus ...80% Hindu, 14 % Muslim, 2.4% Christian, 2% Sikh, 0.7% Buddhist, 0.5% Jains, 0.4% other

Indian just has a large population of Muslims which would give India the second or third Muslim population largest in the world thought.............but still it forms only 12 to 14 % of the total population.

And er0k i really don't see much point in your comment which i wuld say would be more suited to Pakistan or Indianeshia or rest of the Muslim countries better...............I would say India being affected and fighiting this so called Islamic terrorism for nearly a decade now and lost more than 60, 000 innocent people to it................ it might be a consern for them what the US policy is about this terrorism ....................They have always accused US of using Doulbe Standards in this so called War on Terror .

    --Good Luck--
