windows xp file checking garbage and sp2
in the past i have modded my windows system to not have this disabled by following guides like this one: http://www.overclockersclub.com/guid...ilechecker.php but i just upgraded to sp2 and i cant find the offset to change in my sfc_os.dll file. i was hoping somebody on here knew what to do, all the sites i've seen only have offsets for sp1 or lower... i'm really getting tired of booting off of my install cd to change stuff and having my own system tell me i dont have permission to delete the "windows tour". i friggin paid for it. why shouldn't i be allowed to do what i want, even if i screw things up, its my choice.

Are you logged in as admin?
I've yet to be told by WinXP that I don't have permission when I am logged in as an admin....

i can only login as admin from safe mode and even then i'm not allowed to modify a file that this thing protects unless i boot off of my install cd into true dos mode as admin. its very annoying if you like to tweak and customize your system, plus i hear it takes a little bit away from system preformance.
