hmmm your design style seems to defer greatly between each page
site 1) Intro is impressive but not needed - perhaps giving people the choise? load the main page first and then have a link to 'showreel' or something that way people can view it if they want to without forcing upon them at the start.
The main page layout is good easy to navigate but the
Place your product news here or advertise a special service or product...(more)
kinda gives away fact you used a premade template
Also the flash animation on the main page makes the file size huge - why not place a simple static image there instead?
2) I take it on the second site you ahve used some kind of shopping cart software? It works ok but doesn't look that great kinda bare.....plus i think some pictures of the products wouldn't go amiss - let people see what they are buying as well as a description of each item - maybe some customer reviews? feedback?
take a look at some other online stores for ideas (http://www.amazon.com | http://www.thinkgeek.com | http://www.iwantoneofthose.co.uk)
3) The use of typography seems wrong - it isn't eye catching enough and is difficult to read. Also the background graphic seems a little.....kiddie like.
Once again i suggest looking at other sites for inspiration - remember these other sites are your (your clients) competitors - if they look better than your site then people are more likely to book with them than with your client (http://www.caravan-sitefinder.co.uk/ | http://www.bookdirectly.co.uk/ | http://www.parkdeanholidays.co.uk/ )
my advice is to learn photoshop - it is becoming as much a tool of the webdesigner as the digital artist. Teamed with imageready you can make some fantastic looking websites without relying upon premade templates
