How YOU configure your security depends on what you are securing and your budget as well as the environment you're in. A home security configuration is vastly different from a small business and a large corporation.

The first two links are tutorials by pooh sun tzu on securing Windows. The second link is a list of all operating system tutorials where you may be able to find something on Fedora but I'm not really sure.
