    I think I've gotten more out of this thread than anyone else, I love the idea of it, and so I post a lot in it and show what desktops I'm currently messing with. For example right now I'm playing with this:

    You seem to have a bit of time on your hands. You should give coding a window manager a try, it would be interesting - to say the least - to see what you would come out with.

    I think that's one of the standard SuSE Pro 9.2 desktops. It's called "Alien" or something.

    It's not just for SUSE though, KDE is where you can get it easily.

    Anyway, here is a new screen shot. I'm doing some scratching (I don't think it's a secret I make techno and then sometimes take other songs and scratch with them and mix them all around making awesome sounding stuff).
