Glad to hear it. It's interesting to see what simple exercise can do. As I mentioned earlier I had to deal with a variety of things a few years ago. One of the ways I dealt with it was running (I was responsible for walking the family dog so I decide to turn it into a little jog). Between the running and the initial depression, I lost about 20 lbs. Today, my old goalie knees can't handle running but cycling does me quite well -- both inside and out.
Things will work out over time.

Come to think of it, running has helped me in the past. The bigger the problem the easier it is to convert anger and hurt into the forward momentum of your legs. You begin to visiualize solutions and leave things behind you.

The meaning of life... that's easy. SEX.
In all of its forms, the bipolarity of sexes within the human race and our desire to copulate are the driving force of all human activity. We build enormous phallic symbols in our cities, amass huge fortunes, dress flashy, drive sharp looking vehicles, dance, buy flowers and candy, even keep ourselves alive all out of a deep-seated desire for sex. I challenge any of you, singly or in numbers, to find any single thing mankind has done from any other desire.
We moved into caves so we could stay dry and have sex. We made fire so we wouldn't get cold while having sex, and so we could feed our children so our women wouldn't be too busy to have sex. We invented kitchens, modern plumbing, electricity, transportation, the works, all out of a desire to have sex, either to save more time/energy to use on sex, or to give us more opportunity to have sex.
In geekdom instead of hot cars and flashy clothes, we use hot computers and mad skillz to copulate with our geek women, what few there are, or to impress nongeek women so much they'll just die to screw us.
We even make war to have sex - by denying others the right or ability to screw we limit their population, thereby enabling ourselves to have that much more room in the global population (whee! more sex for us!).
Priests, you say? Without starting a religious jihad here in this thread, let us suffice it to say that there's a HUGE 'nun fetish' out there and leave it at that, shall we?
Space? Ok, we explore space in hopes to find new lands to colonize, thereby giving us more room for population growth.... ergo: more sex. Not to mention the profession Astronaut is sexy - they're never wanting for the horizontal mambo.
I personally maintain that Man is not a monogamous creature. If he were, he'd meet *one* female who'd lay with him and that'd be the end of it...resultantly our race (humans - homo sapiens sapiens) would be *much* more peaceful instead of the incredibly adaptable, intensely dangerous animal he is. He is not - this is why we 'get naked at Mardi Gras', have frat rush parties, and chase women in general. It is also why man is, beyond a shadow of doubt, the most dangerous creature in the known Universe.
We screw like rabbits and breed as fast as cockroaches. We expand our population on an exponential, not geometric, scale. If we aren't sure of it, haven't ever met it, or feel intimidated by it, we kill it, or do our whorish best to do so, then keep trying until we succeed...then we take over its territory and screw there too. I'm quite sure you'll see interplanetary expansion in our lifetime - it's only a matter of time before sheer population pressure forces us to reach for the stars.
All from sex.
I wrote this with tongue in cheek - feel free to laugh, criticise, and enjoy reading this brief dissertation as much as I enjoyed writing it. I give credit and creedence to R.A. Heinlein for having the idea *much earlier* than I did, for planting it in his works, and by association planting it in my head.

Now sex in a zero atmosphere, that sounds interesting..lmao I have tried the underwater thing, nearly bloody drowned.

Yeh, I thought about suicide, and sometimes still do. My parents divorced, both got remarried. My grandfather commit suicide, then my friend, then my step father. So I'v been surrounded by it. But I think the thing that keeps me going is trying to find a stress free life. I don't have any big goals for my life, after the events that have happened, earning big goals require alot of stress, and I have already been through all the stress that I can handle. So my goal is to make 40-50 thousand a year and live on the east coast of florida and surf ...

"Well, depression isn't terminal...but there is no real cure."
Sure there is. Plain and simple, don't let depression come to you, ignore it, life will keep its green grass, blue waters, and the blue which dances on the sky. Try this if depression does come to you, I practice this myself:
Sit in a quiet room, just sit there, relax. Now close your eyes, think of nothing at all. If a thought pops into your mind, hit the delete button. Now keep like this if time permits (5 minutes, 10, etc.). Now for once you have reached perfection, you are now at peace. There is also a religious aspect of this, when you become in contact with your Source - which is found in each of us. Just by looking, painting a picture of you digging deep into your soul, you'll find it, and when you do - let it manifest. Genius is in each of us, but doing this, I would put a few hundred dollors on the table, to bet you have a word for yourself, the wise.
"The meaning of life... that's easy. SEX."
What do you work for "Disney World?" Bah..... You know, no meaning of such term.
Life isn't what you think, its simply something you don't think nor feel. For some of us. For ours, life is everyday. Life is a test, and I'll leave it at that.
Cheers,

You know, depression is not a "state of mind", it's a serious medical condition accompanied by a chemical imbalance, treated with medicine and psychotherapy. Suicidal thoughts are not normal to have either. A lot of people that unfortunately have commited suicide seeked help beforehand and contemplated the idea way before it happened. Seeking help does not mean you won't due it. It means you need help. I advise you to seek professional help ASAP. A forum is not going to do it. Specially in a place where everybody is telling you it's ok to feel that way, because it's not. Many times these thoughts come and go and it might come back so strong you won't have control over it. Don't go through life hurting like this. There's help.
