jave plugin
i am running firefox 1.0 on a windowsXP box and for some reason when i try to download the java plugin it says could not find HTTP://jdl.sun.com/webapps/download/...//ja150000.cab dose any one know what could be causing this because it can get annoying with out a java plugin.

Thanks for the link but i am still having problems when i try to get it from the site it downloads to firefox and it is in the place ware you see what extenshions you have but then windows installer starts up and i get the same error message.

Riot,
Can you check your log to see the number associated with the error...I don't know if it will solve your problem but it might narrow it down a little to what kind of problem you're having.
I'm running Windows 2000 Pro with Firefox 1.0 and I had no problem downloading Java off the site I gave you.

Ok i got it to work after some messing with it but i still dont know what the problem was but thank you for your help.
