just becasue it is a windows ME cd does not mean it is a bootable cd. Most cds that come with OEM compters are images of the os not a boot cd. thats why they are called restore disks...they restore your system to its original state.

A bunch that I came across for 98 and me were not. I needed a boot disk for them. The ones now for xp and 2k have been though.

nihil- UPPER SHIFT KEYS ? hold shift down while pressing F8? trust me I was pressing F8.
NO! you just use upper shift by itself, then it will work

This CD is being overlooked, so I need to go back to Setup(CMOS). That doesnt happen with WinME.
What the hell does the OS have to do with getting into the CMOS Setup? BLOODY NOTHING
Youu get into to your CMOS during the POST stage BEFORE the Bloody OS boots.. The darn option ME gives is a Operating System BOOT OPTION.. that is the option of normal or Safe Mode boot...
IF you don't know what a CMOS Setup and OS Boot option is.. hand in your A+
