    Wait....you mean there are married couples who don't wind up yelling at each other if they watch the news together? My husband and I sure can't. What's truly funny is that on some issues, we are completely in line with each other, and yet other issues, we're polar opposites. Which leaves both of us wondering how the hell the other person can be so right about some things and so terribly wrong about others.

    A conundrum, indeed. Dries is *so* polar opposite me...that neither of us can fathom how the other can think the way we do. But, I do find something about 'sleeping with the enemy' appealing.

    As stubborn and entrenched as I am in my beliefs (and I think anyone who's been here a while knows who's right and who's left)....even if he was a communist dictator...I'd stand behind him.

    Amazingly enough, Mrs |ce and I get along on 99.9999% of all things newsworthy - believing that the story we're getting is sensationalized to it's maximum potential. Interpreting 'what they're not telling us' has become a game in our household. The only things on which we disagree vehemently are sports - I like watching them, she doesn't. This is why there are three, count 'em three idiot boxes in our two person household.
    Even a broken watch is correct twice a day.
