Coldplay is excellent. They fall into a category that my hard core rap friend calls "Whiney Ass Brit Band" These include Oasis, Radio Head, Fools Garden, Travis etc. All among my favorite music. Thus I am dubbed "Whiney Ass Brit Band Love" I almost included the Cure, but lump them in with Mission UK (The Mission in Britain), the Church etc. What should I call them? Whiney ass 80's bands?

Anyone heard of La Quiete (an italian "hardcore punk?" band)? I played at a gig with them a month or so ago; one of the best gigs I've been to. Got their cd and it kicks serious ass (although you really have to see them live).

I loved QOTSA until i saw them live...they truly sucked. All you heard was a big blob of what it was suppost to be a guitar. Couldn't even tell the songs apart. I was very dissapointed.

Along comes Tangled up in Plaid: this sounds like the tune one should have playing when beating the crap out of Gore... not because one wanted to, but because one could

No one listening to that band could kick my ass.

And my "Anthem" has 4 drugs I don't even touch. For extra credit, who can guess which four?

Hehe. Somewhat close, I enjoyed Valium when I had it. So I count that. Weed is a no no, E is a nono, and Coke is a nono. Now there is one more that was mentioned here once so far that I don't do but they didn't say it towards me

I do a lot of Nicotine.
