    I do this with iptables sometimes, although not quite as obviously.

    I divert any new incoming connections to the MIRROR target, which reverses the source and destination IP addresses and retransmits the packet. Then I blow the firewall wide open.

    Sit back and watch people try to hack thier own box.

    Gotta be careful I don't get used as a DoS proxy though if somebody figures it out.
