You watch REsident Evil nd complain the the computers are unrealistic?
Ummm... Brain eating zombies anyone?
The point is that not many (if any) of us have encountered brain eating zombies before, so we can't say how they would be, what they would do, etc. But when it's something like computers where we are used to using them a lot, it is slightly different - you can't help but get a bit annoyed or amused some times even if you are trying to just accept the movie.

I’ll add one. I’m also "copyrighting" it here for the first time; therefore you mustn’t make fun of it or I’ll sue you for slander.
The number of monitors grows exponentially to the performance of the computer system.

What I find funny is, in hackers the Virus had a graphical look to it and not a bunch of code. I rather see code in a movie than a gay looking guy talking. also what is up with the gibson looks like a city with buch of buildings. I would like a TV show that really protrays a true hacker. I did like the movie the core. the kid had a killer setup but then they ruined it at the end when he plugs into everyones computer. Graphical crap again... Then we have the movie swordfish, it was a nice computer setup, then came the virus, this was a little better, but still had a fackness to it and I wont get into the Net. All in all, all the movies entertained me but made me feel cheated in the end. Thats Hollywood for you.
