I have installed several of the Cisco 2600's and they work very well. If you plan on using your router to also provide VPN and Firewall capabilities you might need to look at how many devices will be behind your router.
In addition keep in mind that an End of Life announcement has been made for the 2600 series. Last ship date was May, 2003, last support date is April, 2006, and end of life date is April 2008. It has been replaced by the 2600XM series witch has more memory and faster processor.
