It makes me stop and reflect. I have a long history of ranting against the government.
Never in my lifetime have I been aware of a journalist being threatened this way
for expressing an offensive opinion. There is an unbridgeable ocean of political
and philosophical difference between Europe and America.
If it is so evil here, why does everyone still flee here to escape persecution?
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

NEVER have truer words been spoken ...................
The bast**ds are everywhere, calling us [US - UK] for our [apparent] evil, how they wish only for the day that the black flag of the muslim state flies over the capital.
THEN :they are living in our cities, taking our money as a hand out, one in particular in the UK whos has done NOTHING but espouse trouble , has just been GIVEN a ********* CAR [£15000]
Another was claiming for all sorts of things, aided and abbetted by filth in a wig [lawyer] who said it was their clients RIGHT ...............
Police raided the mosque where said turd holds diatribes, found stolen credit cards - passports. FAKE credit cards - Passports AND cash LOTS of cash 00's of 000's of £ + $
I've gone through a personal hell these last three years, total help from social security = ZIP.
Apparently I didn't qualify .................
sample from the Finsbury Park mosque. UK. a known centre for calls to kill almost anybody for almost any reason ..........
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

I wish the Middle East would just incur a dramatic technological modernization overnight. Spirituality there is so much different than in the west. Here we have countless types of more leisure, access to information/opinions, diverse cultures, etc. Over in the middle east, alot of them have nothing but religon--so that becomes their entire life. Put one and one together and you have a fanatic/zealot spawning ground.
this is exactly where the problem lies. Modernization of the muslim nation will bring about the corruption of the masses in the eyes of the devout muslim. And it will. What your talking about, allowing the muslim population to see exactly how the west lives, showing them the pleasures they are denied. Tempting them to adopt new and radically more liberal ways of thought and lifestyle. this is exactly what they are trying to stop. To them we are the great satan…the great corruptor.
who's to say that a nation cannot have a government based on religion if they so choose. As I see it the only reason this is bad for us is that these nations are willing to go to war with us to keep us from corrupting the devout. The more extreme even think that the only way to prevent this corruption is world domination, much like the USSR had in mind.
We have the entire western world telling these nations that the way their religion tells them to treat woman is wrong and must be stopped. From my way of thinking it is wrong. But do we have the right to enforce our way of thinking on them? Probably not.
For them it is a religious war. For us it’s an economic necessity to change the muslim mind set, institute a democratic government and allow for free trade. I really doubt that both ways can co-exist in such a small world. Somebody has got to go.
Bukhari:V3B48N826 “The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.’”

Nations can be run by religon, and obviously still are in the Middle East. There is absolutely no problem with this--so long as everyone is a robot with no individual thought or preference and surrenders all sense of self to the collective.
To a religous zealot, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Life is meant to serve "The Most High", so personal needs are irrelevant. My question is, does Islam have the ideal of free will and if so, is it a respected gift from above?
