Thanks for all your guys help with this machine. I have decided to give the machine back to the owner because the LCD has gone out and it is know longer worth my time to try and fix (Friend of a Friend Job if your know what I mean). XTC46 as for how the HDD is sodered to the Mother board, I'm not quite sure that this is even the hard drive itself, but it is the only thing that is big enough to hold a 2" plater for the HDD.
