Gaming addicts do time for neglecting kids
Is that heroine or heroin ??
The parents of four kids have been sentenced to three months in jail for neglect, after becoming addicted to internet gaming.
The youngest was found in a heavily soiled nappy. The other three were all dirty, and hardly clothed. Two of the children needed emergency dental work, and one had to have all her teeth removed.

Heroin in some cases. I game alot, but dont have a dependants to worry about. Its so sad that the parents neglected their kids like this...
Does nappy = diaper in the queens english?

Yes, nappy = diaper
And they should do what we do...find a multi-player game and play with their kids!!

gotta agree, hesperus.
no amount of gaming results in complete removal of all of your child's teeth.
someone must have been working to pay the ISP bill. thats about all they paid for. how sad.
Difficult takes a day, Impossible takes a week~Kthln01!

Internet gaming can be as addictive as gambling, I guess. The excitement of the game drives up adrenaline levels and people get addicted to that. Some people start parasailing, stunt-driving or other extreme sports for the adrenaline shots. Computer junkies just grow attacked to the Internet.

Maybe one time when they came up for air from baby-making, they discovered the internet!

Can anyone explain how you can be "addicted to online gaming" AND have 4 children?
Its more likely than being addicted to online porn and having kids, and how many people do you know who do that  .

that's just sad. but i can see it happening. My sister is "Hooked" on Everquest. she plays it all the damed time. the only time she ever comes out of her room is when her daughter Eve is throwing a fit,needs changed,or is hungry.Other then that she completly ignores her daughter.Not once have i ever seen her play with Eve.
