Next they'll sue the US DOD for not including an illegal content filter in the internet.
I'm not a Kazaa fan, but am a p2p fan and this is a bad kind of precedent.
In the "grockster" case it was about them "advertising the app to use for illegal sharing"
In this case it is about "not implementing technical measures to prevent the sharing of copyright files"
Which is impossible !!

I dont think P2P will ever really go away because people think why should i pay for something when i can get it for free? the music industry has been sueing people left and right but i think there is a better solution than that, there must be a better way... I do believe P2p is legal in Canada....

I do believe P2p is legal in Canada....
Atleast downloading is legal in the Netherlands.. Uploading is not.. So basicly leeching is allowed.
It's the same with when book printing was just invented and the monks were mad that anyone could just go and copy books..
Same with Xerox and later with VHS..
It's just the Dinosaurs fearing technology..
