Google Accelerator
Hi, I just went to google and under their "more" button they have alot of things like froogle, google labs etc... anyway they have some called Google Accelerator ( i think) its sposed to speed up your web surfing and its still in beta, everytime i check they say that they are accepting anymore applications for that so i cant get it! my question is when did they have it in beta where you could download it? and will they ever open it again? and also i have cable internet so would that even help me at all? thanx bye, tyler.

Google accelerator 'reached capacity' pretty quick. It caused a lot of controversy and general havoc and was basically pulled. It is a prefetch tool, which means it looks ahead and clicks on every link in a page -- including all those adsense pay-per-clicks, login, logout, submit, whatever -- so it is there waiting for you when you want it.

If I am not mistaken there are greasemonkey extensions that do something similar.
