so we go with the next "latest, greatest" thing to come down the pipe, that being importing those cheap drugs from our Canuckleheaded (No offense to anyone from there except our tovarich dalek) neighbors with socialized medicine (and cheap retail prices!). I see benefit to both sides of the border from such an agreement - Canada gains phat profits from mass-selling us their meds, we gain cheap meds since our own US companies want to stick it to us.

For what it's worth (you should read up on socialism, it is different from communism) the majority of the drugs we sell to you, are, are you ready? made in the good ole US of A, so that's great, we buy the drugs wholesale from your big rip em off pharmaceauticals and turn around and sell them back to you, says a lot for free trade right.

And I suppose it's okay to inflate the bills when charging people for what is for a lot of people life saving medicine, heck if the rich can afford it then well so can the rest right, there are people dying every day because they can't get access to the proper medications (South Africa Aids), mostly because they are priced too high. But if you can afford it, that's okay who cares about the next guy right.

I didn't want to get into a slinging match on who's system is better then who's, but if you are going to slam me for sticking up for what I believe in. then I am going to respond.

We have universal health care, which means every Canadian ( and a lot of Canadians in waiting) are entitled to access to our health system, my Son and Daughter when they were born the system paid for it as did my health insurance, yep a lot of us still have to buy health insurance, see I bet you thought it was all free and the taxpayers paid everything, your wrong, I pay a monthly premium, and have since I started working in 1976.

That's my "Soapbox" for the day.
