Adult-oriented content historically has been at the leading edge of various types of technological development, from the early days of photography, to home video players, to content available on the Internet. Now, with new iPod video capability, pornography may push the envelope of video content available on iPods. Of course, this development presents some issues.

I can get Pr0n on my 3G phone if I was willing to pay for it.
It's pr0n and pirate music that has largely driven the uptake of broadband in Europe (probably the US too).

Pron and gameing have allways push the devlopment of new computer tech, why should the Ipod be ny different? If not for porn there would be no comercial web.

bballad: Perhaps you are bringing up a different point, but IPods contain music.. not games. Maybe I misunderstood you though.
Regardless, porn is a money-maker whether on the web or outside the web. Period. It almost always finds a way onto things to increase profits and expenditure.
(Hahaha, sorry.. but "almost always".. what an oxymoron, hehehe)

Who wants pr0n on their phone or ipod? I get squinty eyed enough, throwing one off, without having to squint to see a miniture image.
Seriously though, I have never understood why anyone would pay for phone ringtones, pr0n, screen savers etc. There is plenty of free, legal, content to download and transfer to your phone with a data cable or over bluetooth. The same can be said for ipod/videopod, what ever.
What happens if a big asteroid hits the Earth? Judging from realistic simulations involving a sledge hammer and a common laboratory frog, we can assume it will be pretty bad. - Dave Barry

It is my own belief, that people who think about sex and keeping p0rn materials {photos and video} around them, has nothing to think about but sex. I never ever thought to pay even a single penny to buy such stuff!
I know sex feels good and great, I don't deny! But this MUST not be an obsession! If you are one of them, I think you need to consult a sexologist! No kidding!
