and I always get messages about BAD URL Double Click blocked..
I've been getting this up, thought it was something I'D done
problem happens when I'm on XPPro IE6 AND Fedora Core 3 Firefox ????

find it happens mainly in the evening [GMT] and it DOES time out on my set ups ....
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

I'm using Firefox 1.0.7 and up until recently it has become slower, I put it down to Java, as when I go to post for the first time, the java console opens up and scrolls through it's process and then I can post. So I have been assuming all along that it has something to do with java.....??

Usually the time I find the slowest though here on Atlantic Time is 5pm, (4pm in New York).

I haven't found any slowness. Previously I have found that certain ads caused problems and found that AdBlock on Firefox fixed this.

For those that find it slow, do you still see the ads?

I only feel the slowness while under Ie, while using the Proxomitron, then once i close them both up and just use Netscape i don't really notice the sluggishness..

this is very interesting, i wonder what could be doing this..
Umm they said i should put my signature here.
And now all i got is a heap of White Out on the Monitor..

I use Firefox and the proxomitron. I don't see any adds and untill this morning the site was doing pretty good, but then in the last hour it has gotten extreamly slow.

Edit> I just turned off the Proxomitron and it didn't make any difference, except I now see all the adds.

hmmm that was interesting, I didn't see any ads, so figured my Firefox adblocker was doing just fine, but I thought well, why not disable the adblocker and have another look..........so I go and do this, only to find out It had never been on in the first place, so now I'm wandering what are these ad's supposed to look like.......in the javascript console, it shows a lot of errors OAS_RICH is not defined and all related to AO. Also MM_findObj("ColorUsed 1")

So I am disabling Java and javascript to see if there are any differences.........

Okay that's weird, I did that and posted and now i am in edit mode and low and behold I can see the ad, but I have adblocker enabled, and java and javascript disabled....... Can't use the emoticons, in this state either....

Okay I enabled adblocker and javascript and now the ad is gone. Does seem a little faster at refreshing the pages then earlier.

I agree, AO has been running a bit slow, lately.

    /me doesn't notice anything and I've experimented with I.E, Firefox w/ no ad-blocker, and Firefox w/ ad-blocker.

Running Privoxy and Firefox. Noticed slowdown for a few days, but it seems much better today.
