howdy,

I ran into a queer predicament at work today. We are working on an employee's Linux machine and the it has a SCSI drive running as the master, and two slave IDE drives. The SCSI went bad and we replace it and in trying to install a new OS on it ( Fedora Core 4 ). Is the correct partition order

boot
root
swap

? The machine keeps locking up after installation completes. I'd appreciate any revelations on this matter.
