there is a work arount to make VM images with the vmplayer ...but why. VMworkstation is shareware for 30+ days and its real easy to make images by just using an ISO. no need to burn a cd if you dont have one or dont want to and of couse its really easy to do it with a CD. i have my newest favorite os suse playing on my XP box at work. its just like haveing it on its own box. configure it, add software, do updates and its all added to the image... i f!@#en love this thing.
