you could use a pellet gun, or a paint ball gun or maybe nails on the road. I remember the last time someone Pizzed me off I shot his car up with a high powered bebe gun. He had one of those fast and furious cars. not fast enough for my bullets. No but on a more serious note, move the wireless farther away from the road. enable mac for only your mac address. some have a function to where you can turn down the power that its pushing out. I take it you have a laptop, so go out side and see the distance you get on your wireless before it drops off.
Change passwords on router and computers.
Enable wep to the fullest
enable Mac filters
Close any ports u might have open.
install firewall.
unshare your stuff
and refer back to the first part of my post.
Laying the smack down is always my first idea, thats why my boss is sending me to anger management. LOL

The sad thing is, is that i do have a paintball gun. I do not want to use it though, because i'm afraid i could get charged with something if i shoot his windshield full of paintballs. But, you've tempted me to do so...

Ahh, unloading a hopper full of paint on his car is definitely satisfying and trust me, the paint washes off - and yes, I do know from personal experience
Seriously, you need to configure the WEP/WPA security settings on your wireless equipment -
Ghost_25inf gives you a pretty good start. Let us know if you need some help in the right direction with those security settings....

I know from personal experince that you can and will get prosecuted for assult if you shoot your paint ball gun at his car and he knows it was you. I would suggest a more ninja styled approach. Ever tried a Drano balloon? takes paint off of cars faster than anything save powerful acids. Reminds me of the time my firends and i hid in the woods while launching drano balloons at the local Car Max with a three man sling shot. now THAT is atisfying,

Even with encryption, a wireless sniffer can watch for the "4-Way Handshake" in which legit MAC's can be seen. The cracker can then mimic a legit MAC address and connect to your network provided he/she can guess your passphrase or aquire it through brute force methods. Also, disabling the SSID is only "security through obscurity". I would agree with everything you said but in addition, is to make sure you use WPA-PSK and a complex passphrase or WPA with a RADIUS server.

A more low tech approach. you know those silver cardboard squares they put on top of the foil carry out containers at restaurants? You can put those around your antennae to aim it. Figure out if it's possible to aim your WiFi signal away from the road. This way he doesn't get service and you get better service on the interior of your home.
That or you can spend some mula to get the WiFi proof paint, but that stuff is expensive.

What if you call the cops and tell them someone is stauking you. I know if you tell them that someone is attempting to hack you, they would tell you its not there problem but if you are a kid and this is an older guy tell the cops this freak is stauking u and you are afraid he is going to do something to you. Before you know it the cops will stake out the place and catch him the next time he shows face. This wouldnt be lieing because you have no idea what he is up to.
