Please think about what you are asking? Do you really believe that Microsoft would deliberately develop a current version of Windows that had inferior graphics handling to another current version?

As Tiger~ mentioned, the differences are to do with networking, which MS assume is not required in the majority of home user situations. I happen to live in "sticksville UK" and from what I see on a day to day basis, this is correct.

Morgana~ has raised another good point. It is your graphics card and its driver that matter. I will add my £0.02 and say don't forget your screen/display quality ....................hey, why spend $350 on a video card and run it on a $35 VDU?

Whilst I am talking about $350 video cards...............just go in the store and look at the boxes..........you will not find one that says "works best with XP Pro" Now, if the OS made a difference you can be sure that the video card manufacturer would know about it, and mention it?
