I'm normally a skeptic, and when I first seen this post I thought the same way as Deeboe, the way I looked at it was, if you are going to spell the name of your own country with a "V" as opposed to a "W", then logically the rest of this person's post should have been...

But then the Svedish Cook on Sesame Street sounded that way....
I digress, what MsM say's is the way to go, I should cure myself of skeptism.....

I would have to say that what MsMittens said make a lot of sense. I honestly would not have thought about it that way.

Thing is if they have learned english as a 2nd language via the internet, that is what it might be like. IMO, it's better to just help if you can.
That is a very interesting take on it. Thanks for that!

I'm sorry, but spelling like that doesn't happen on accident!
Deeboe, I think this does happen by accident, I think not only is he not necessarily fluent in English, but if you type fast while not lookin at the screen and then just hit submit, this is a likely outcome.
fullstops instead of Question marks, I think is a classic sign of this. Everyone does a typo, but I tend to be in agreement with you in that it is best to read what you have written before you post as a clear question will help towards a clear answer. And if you look, I have made a mistake at the beginning of this paragraph, a small f, and at the end of this paragraph, no fullstop, but I think that is more to do with my facetious dyslexia
Sorry I can't help the dude, does he need a truck packing at all??

Back on topic...before you do anything, boot up to safe mode and try logging in as "Administrator" sans (without) a password. If you can get in, then change the user's password from there.

OK, nalle.ro welcome to AO.
The advice to use the boot disks/CDs is good, and it does work, however................
1. Is the computer yours, or is it just one that you use?
2. Is it the administrator password or your user password that you have forgotten?
If the computer is not yours, please contact the owner/administrator and ask them to reset your user password.
If the computer is yours and it is the User password that you have forgotten, use the administrator password to reset it.
If it is the administrator password and you have another user profile in the administrators' group, then you can use this account to reset the administrators' password.
If you only have one administrator account and you have forgotten that, you will have to use one of the tools suggested in previous posts.
If the computer is not yours, please do not attempt to reset the password yourself. You can get into big trouble that way.

Nihil, good point. His user name and password might be authenticated by a domain server. If this is the case and he wants to get into his shares, he should go to the administrator of the network to do so.
