Greeting's
Something very important to note here
Gone are the days when viruses were written by some 18 year old to either impress his girlfriend or to have "I was here" on your desktop, now they don't care for fame but money. Which makes them more cautious and also the danger of custom code comes back to life. More and more of crackers will form pact and number of skiddies will decrease. Now is when they realize that a virus can get them much more then just some fame in his/her friend circle, now it can get them everything they want. The fact that someone is selling PC's at such low costs shows how easy it is for them for getting hold of 25,000 PC's and this is not because of their intelligence but the USER STUPIDITY and disrespect towards security

That this type of thing goes on and has been going on for the past couple of years is fairly evident. That they would advertise their services by e-mail I kinda doubt it. I can just see it now.. " I would like to order 25000 Pc please. Payment? By a major credit card of course. here is my number"
I reckon this is more a phishing scam where they hope you click on the link out of curiosity or it is a fake mail.

Greeting's
I'm not sure about this E-mail but I have studied couple of cases ESP. that have occurred in the U.S.A. where major companies have used such bot nets to DDoS their rival companies. The cost of each PC at least in that case was less then 10c with possibility of negotiation of rates. Its much more sophisticated and planned out then we think. Its a scary picture.

Sounds like a setup to me. A way of catching criminals before they get ahold of the real thing. Report this email to the Feds is what I would have done.
