    Nihil you are correct in that he used a sword to "draw a line in the sand" but, I dont think he really used it. Jim Bowie used his "bowie knives" which were like swords pretty much lol That is what our border patrol should be outfitted with to scare those Mexicans into staying in their own country! jk
