I have a somewhat large cat however it is quite a placid one. That tabby must have small cat syndrome :/

To be honest with you guys, having thought it through, I think I can offer a plausible explanation?
1.The bear appears to be young...... maybe 100-120lbs?
2. It would have been foraging with its mom?
3. It wandered off?
4. It knew it was in other animals' territory?
5. It encountered an aggressive animal it had never encountered before?
6. It did not know the enemy's potential, so it took a wise course of action?
7. It ran back to find mom?
Bears give rattlesnakes a healthy regard................ and nothing will mess with a Wolverine?
