Router - Firewall and problem

hello,


I have a router firewall in my house, I am using uTorrent to download Debian DVD and this has 1 week downloading :S

recently, I check the uTorrent registry tab and says me this:

UPnP:discovered new device: http://192.168.0.1:80/upnp/service/WANIPConnection

UPnP:ERROR -3 mapping port 27696 -> 192.168.0.2:27696

Unable to map UPnP Port

the 192.168.0.1 is the router Firewall IPAddress
the 192.168.0.2 is my ip in the Lan.

how do I solve this? the download is 0 (Zero) but I can open google, this site, Msn, etc.

Like has been said "You need to forward port 27696 to the ip 192.168.0.2"....

On your router config page, select port forwarding (it could very well be under your firewall settings) and tell it to send any traffic coming in on port 27696 to the host that has the IP of 192.168.0.2......or what ever the relevant IP may be.

I glad to says you that this model trendnet dont have this option to forward its to any port, only can forward it to the ip 192.168.0.2 but thru port not (in this case 27696)

for this reason I says

very shortly, this hardware dont have a option for says forward through port 27696, I only can set the ipaddress.

for this I need the experience of any guy in this board.

If you have the option to forward to an IP address, then there is usually an option to specify the port......it HAS to come in to the router on a port you see, so you take this traffic that has come in on the port you desire and send it to the host you want.

If it only has the option to forward all traffic to the IP (some old routers only have this) then you may have to just do this and not configure specific ports.

How about a different router? They're not very expensive...

edit -- just googled that POS (it's not well-reviewed at NewEgg) and you CAN port forward with the thing (it would be real, real strange if you couldn't).

I am thinking in buy other router wireless, this trendnet router/firewall is VERY bad all the days I need reboot this all the time.

I buy its from friend, in 20 $. but I buy a ticket to real hell! :@
