No, he is a citizen of the United Kingdom. We have a National Health Service, so his treatment will be funded by the taxpayer
Funded by the tax payer? Why don't we have stuff like this back in the states? Also, quick question; off topic from computers, is it a crime to smoke a joint or have weed (for example 5 grams or less) in the UK? Is it illegal or legal? Just curious.
If I was in your part of the UK would I be able to walk down the street smoking and not get in no trouble? If so, I think the UK is looking better and better each day.

Hi,
Strictly speaking it is illegal to possess and consume pot. In reality, provided that you are discrete, the consumer is left alone. Dealers are prosecuted of course, but they tend to sell hard drugs as well.
Strangely, if I grew cannabis in my garden it would be destroyed, but my opium poppies are quite legal also I show cacti that would get me 5 years for possession in the USA. The street value of the mescalin is only about 1/10th of the specimen value of the plants so nobody worries.
There is also no nonsense about painkillers like vicodin or morphine, they give you what you need to do the job. In fact, if you really needed it, you would be given heroin, but we call it "diamorphine" to distinguish it from illegal street drugs

Yea, basically the same here in the states. If your discrete about it they don't mess with you. However, if a neighboor is complaining for example, the cops come to your house and "try" to "force" there way in. "Let us come in and check to make sure everything is okay" I said everything is fine go away, we need to check, let us in... from here it can get ugly
See what I mean.

Is this through soil or hydroponics? Opium? You lucky person you. I never had it because I never had the chance too. However, I have heard of cacti (believe part of a catcus or a catcus its self) makes you tripp.

Pain killers in the states is a huge problem xanax, volume, vickodine etc...
damn kids eat them like candy. I think its the new thing now. IMO not to bright.
My cousin is sitting in prison right now over *heroin*/*coke* he will be out sometime in August, he is a computer genius just got involved with the wrong people. BTW The state of florida gives you 3 or 4 chances to get your **** together (after you violate probation) before throwing you in one of our states prison.
I wonder how the prisons are in the UK compared to the ones in the states? Have you ever been there? Perhaps jail? Just curious.
IMO, I think they are worse here in the states. Only because we have way more crack heads and people who really don't give a phuck because they have nothing to live for,so they will take your life and not even think twice about it. Very very sad, but indeed true.
You surprised me with your knowledge on these topics. I knew you were computer smart but I didnt know you were street smart.
Got my respect.
Cheers, cn22

It seems we have more than just "computers" in common. I bet about 90% of the people on this board are into drugs or some form of illegal activity.
I'm not saying thats a good thing or anything to be proud of but you don't know that type of information unless your into that type of thing.
Never did any of those peyote or mescalin, opium that must be a UK thing cause here in the state of FL its a very rare source. Even though we have serveral shipping ports, ST. Petersburg, Miami, Lakeland, etc... not to mention I-75. Also, were off the "Gulf of Mexico" with the Atlantic Ocean on the other coast of Miami, and puerto rico and bahamas and jamaca below us with cuba and all the other islands. So coast guard in Florida is huge. For several obvious reasons.

The official policy on canabis is that in your own home it is illegal, but not worth police time.
Pot smoking hippie = harmless
psycopathic murder = worth the effort.
Anti drug laws are a lot softer in the UK than the US. Sort of a "your body, your problem" kind of thing. I've seen stories about the US that rapists get shorter sentences than the pot smoking hippie, despite my previous that I'd rather meet the hippie in a dark alley.
If the world doesn't stop annoying me I will name my kids ";DROP DATABASE;" and get revenge.

I bet it would be worth the police time to catch someone who is pushing/trafficking in at least 25 pounds or 300 plants which of course is a felony of the 1st degree in my state. And the felony known as "trafficking in cannabis" I think that would be worth the police time.

Again, no one belongs in jail for marijuana.

Very true. People who drink and drive and kill someone (vehicular homicide) most of them time will serve a lighter sentence than someone moving weight. Not very fair?

was in Jail once as well, it was at a geological field centre in the wilds of the Welsh mountains..............it was a little village and the local cop only had two bedrooms .............
Sorry about the late response. I too, was also in jail(not proud of it) for a bench warrant I got pulled over for speeding one day and I also had a bench warrant out for my arrest.
BENCH WARRANT ORDERED, BOND SET AT 1000.00
4 1/20/1999 BENCH WARRANT ISSUED
6 2/18/1999 BENCH WARRANT FILED (SERVED)
7 2/18/1999 $1000.00 ASCC, FOWLER BAIL BONDS
So it wasnt deep in the middle of nowhere with razorwire , stripped searched, finger printed, sat in holding cell for 6 hours while waiting to get finger printed, mugshot and finally entered into population. I was in a cell with 3 other guys, 4 metal beds (two on each side) which was deadbolted to the cement. In the middle of the room dead bolted to the wall was a all metal card table then right in front of the cell (kind of to the side) was the shiiter for everyone in population could see you using. No pillows, no blankets, only 3 inch broken excersise mat and being ice cold in there like 60 , drinking kool-aid with no sugar, as well as cold sandwhiches everyday for lunch, stripped search the list can go on and on...
Me I just try to keep an open mind?
Me too. Cheers, cn22
