Reboot, being part Irish, I know what you mean with that particular word, and it scares the **** out of me just thinking about it. I can't even imagine that happening, I'd probably get a priority 1 call from nature saying "Nevermind evacuating ship" and scream like a little girl heh.

We had a resident ghost. Well two actually. A man and a woman. Every afternoon between 1 and 4 they would pass in fornt of our kitchen windows. All you would see as the shadows even in the middle of summer. the man would go pass first and then the women would pass by later. They never bothered anyone so they just became a part of the scenery.
Have seen some other wierd stuff so beign i yeah i believe in ghost and spirits.

Muracu, ever get any pictures of it? Or video?
What you described sounds like Residual Haunting, which is sort of like a tape playing itself over and over again whenever certain conditions are met. More on that here if you wanna check it out:

They don't know you're there and so it does whatever it does regaurdless.

My father died when I was 22. In that following year, he came to me
twice, at night, while in a lucid dream state. They were extraordinarily
vivid experiences under which I was unable to physically wake up without
making a strong effort. I was actually quite fearful with the unfamiliarity
of it all.
I've described the experiences to a few people through the years, only
to have them generally dismissed as hallucinations. For me, it was real.
I think we are surrounded by an unseen world, little of which we really
know, or understand.

Here's another question I've been pondering -- what is all this **** about angels? Have you heard this? Three out of four people belive in angels. Are you ****ing stupid? Has everybody lost their mind?
What about Goblins, huh? Doesn't anybody belive in Goblins? You never hear about this. Except on Halloween and then it's all negative ****. And what about Zombies? You never hear from Zombies! That's the trouble with Zombies, they're unreliable! I say if you're going to go for the Angel bullshit you might as well go for the Zombie package as well.

These echo my thoughts on this subject quite well.

Zombies are a relatively recent creation in the undead collection. Zombies did not "exist" before the invention of electricity. Its the whole "using electricity to make a frogs leg twitch" that inspired the idea of zombies.
As for ghosts, well nothing as concrete as some people describe but quite a few times I have had things just....fall... off shelves. Not something precariously balanced, on a level surface just....fall off as if the shelf had suddenly tipped 45 degrees.
Actually, that happens many times a day but usually the cat is to blame. A good few times though it definately wasn't the cat.
If the world doesn't stop annoying me I will name my kids ";DROP DATABASE;" and get revenge.

Moo, Zombies are real I know a drug that is used in some cultures to make Zombies. The person appears dead, they are put in a grave, and whoever drugged them comes and digs them up and they stay in almost a trance like state and basically become the slave of whoever it is.
Movies have been made on this subject and one director I won't mention, actually wanted to know what it was like to have this happen, so the guy was like OK.
A month later he came to, have no recollection of the entire thing.
Zombies in the sense of Night of the Living Dead, eating people and walking around groaning for brains.... Well, heh, needless to say I could probably write an entire book.
Half my jokes I give off in person have to do with Zombies.
Just the other day I said to my Fiancee "Wow that ******* has the brains of a starving Zombie" and we both laughed.
Now Angels, yes, I believe in them too.
I've seen to much for humans and physical things to be the only thing here. I think keeping an open mind is also important.
Ghosts freak me out way more than Zombies. Mainly because if a Zombie is there you can see it. it doesn't talk without being there it doesn't do anything without you physically being able to see it.
It's the whole don't know where it is or what it's thinking part that really freaks me out. A Ghost you can't really see unless it decides to form, and even then you're totally freaked out looking at it.

Yes, it's an actual picture taken by someone who can't hold his or her camera still. Jeez, gore, I was expecting to read some ridiculous stuff in this thread, but that picture tops it all

Neg, check the taps website, they show exactly what a non still camera shot looks like. Actually here are some links by TAPS that show how a camera strap regaurdless of color can show up as a white anomaly:
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s.../snakeglob.jpg
^
"Many people would say that this is a string of orbs but it is only a camera strap. Even a black camera strap will appear white due to the reflective nylon."
-----------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s...es/vortex2.jpg
"Camera strap again. Notice how it fades away at the edge of the picture. That's due to the strap moving away from lens."
--------------------
Image I posted:
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s.../lightshow.jpg
"Notice how the strings of plasma lights give off light reather than reflect it."
All text in quotes are copied and pasted from TAPS web site.
-----------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s...lightshow2.jpg
"More vortices. These occure naturally and can barely be seen with the naked eye."
------------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s...lightshow3.jpg
"Another example."
--------------------------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s...ges/stairs.JPG
"Here is a fake made with Adobe Photoshop."
------------------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s.../poolglob4.jpg
"Here is an example of how the dust from an abandoned building was mistaken as orbs."
----------------------
http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-s...s/PA270033.jpg
"Here is the portal to the other side! Actually it's just some severe dust."
---------------------
As you can see they show what fakes look like, and what happens from camera problems. The guys and girls of TAPS I usually tend to believe as they go out of their way to see if they can dis-prove something as paranormal instead of just saying "Oh wow that must be a Ghost" so they do tend to look at it more scientifically, and when they investigate a place, they try to dis-prove the place as haunted, and even when they catch evidence on video or audio or pictures, they will look at it and try to find another reason for what happened.
They were at a light house in the first season of Ghost Hunters, and they were trying to say the reason the EMF gauge was goign nuts was probably the power supplies were probably giving it off, so they stopped filming, took all the power out, and tried again, getting the same results.
And of course one of the two lead investigators was sitting in the attic on a chair which, after he left, slid across the floor on it's own. That was the first time they had picked up video like that and they had a video person come in, brighten it up, work with it, and they showed both the original video, and the brightened up slightly easier to see video to the people who work at the Light House and had the video guy check it out to see if there was another way to get the chair moving, but he said there was no fishing line as it would have shown up on the IR with a reflection, and the attic only has one entrance / exit.
The video, I have it on DVD when I bought the first season, it's impressive.

Might as well pop this in here too since some of these are amazing. Some links may not work but most of the ones at the top do:
