My Birthday Today!

Thanks ... the string of associated disasters continued when one daughter had her flight back to Bristol delayed 2 hours which meant she wouldn't arrive in Bath in time to get the last train home. Not only would this have got her back quite late, but she was going to have to pay a lot of money to make the journey in a taxi!

Everyone was shattered at the end of the day - it felt more like a xmas day with having a lunchtime meal. One day to recover then off on holiday tomorrow!

Many thanks, it was nice to get back from holiday and see new messages Don't talk to me about flights - Easyjet ones anyway! I have to say our holiday travelling was perfect, our connecting flights were timed just right, and I can thoroughly recommend Eastern Airways (but then both they and BA are far more expensive than Easyjet). You get what you pay for - unfortunately the cheap airlines are often the only option and when something's important you'd rather just get there.

I can't believe all this rain I've come back to! Shetland is bone dry, we had no rain the whole time we were there and I've even come back with a bit of a tan
