Slackware for Dual Core Laptop
Ok, here's the deal... I have just purchased a new dell inspiron 1501 laptop with windows vista home premium, amd 64x2, and 2 gb of ram. I am trying to install slackware and when install loads it gets as far as saying 'High Resolution Mode Set for CPU O' 'High Resolution Mode set for CPU 1' and then it hangs. It won't go any further and every time that is the point it stops at. Any suggestions?
