    Hey guys,

Tried to upload the file, it failed. Using a JPG file as an example now. I right click and choose properties. Read-Only and hidden are not ticked. I click on advanced. Encryption & archiving is enabled, I then click on details for the encryption and I am listen under "Users who can transparently see this file". This is all under the general TAB.

I then choose the security TAB.
    There are 3 names listed.

    1. Autehenticated users
    2. System
    3. Myself

Permissions for all are set to allow however they are greyed out, I cannot edit them, I can only choose something in the deny comoum. Clicking on advanced I am set as the owner.

Let me know if you need anything else to help solve this problem.

    Thanks for the effort.

    LOL

No sh1t you wont be able to access them...........if they are encrypted.

Thats why your getting the app error...the encryption\decryption probably only runs on Vista

    Do you have the key??

This has nothing to do with the fooking file system.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...bitlocker.aspx

BitLocker prevents a thief who boots another operating system or runs a software hacking tool from breaking Windows Vista file and system protections or performing offline viewing of the files stored on the protected drive.
    There you go...

You may have luck with slaving it into a vista machine....as long as you have the "recovery" password or key which was entered \created when the drive was first encrypted.
