Anyone Using CNC-Cut Parts for Home Theater DIY Projects?

Hi all,
I?m researching how CNC-cut components are being used in home theater DIY setups?things like speaker cabinets, acoustic panels, brackets, or custom metal/wood parts.

If you?ve used CNC machining for any AV project, I?d love to know:

What parts you made

What materials worked best

Any tips or challenges you faced

Just trying to understand how CNC fits into home theater building.

I have used CNC-cut MDF and birch plywood for speaker cabinets and acoustic panel frames, and the precision really helps with tight fits and clean edges. MDF is easy to machine and good for speakers, while plywood is stronger for mounts and brackets. The main challenge is getting the design files right and allowing for tolerances, but once that is done, assembly is much faster and cleaner. Overall, CNC fits well in DIY home theater builds if you plan the cuts properly.
