AntiOnline Member Tutorial of the Week
Want to share your computer security smarts and earn a cool $50 while you're at it?
Every month, members will get the chance to submit a tutorial. If yours is selected as an AntiOnline User Tutorial of the Week by our team of moderators, you get $50 US.
Tutorials of the Week will be featured on both AntiOnline and Enterprise IT Planet.
Submitting is easy, simply start a thread in the
AntiOnline Member Tutorial of the Week forum by that month's deadline using the familiar forum interface to paste or enter your submission.
Enter any time! Submissions made after 10th of each month will be considered for the following month's tutorials.
Rules:
- Computer security or network security only.
- One submission per user per month.
- Submissions will only be accepted by starting a thread in the
AntiOnline Member Tutorial of the Week forum.
- Must be an original, unpublished piece (online and/or in print).
- Tutorials detailing how to compromise the security of software, server, Web site or Web service are strictly prohibited.
- Moderators can participate but are not eligible for payment and cannot vet their own entries.
- Members that pass the screening process and whose submission are selected for the AntiOnline Member Tutorial of the Week must sign a freelance agreement authorizing the use of their work.
- Attachments, such as text files and Word documents are prohibited.
Content Guidelines:
- Word Limit: 700 (minimum) - 1000 words not including code snippets.
- Requirements: Must outline the software and/or hardware required to follow the instructions.
- Tutorials must be labeled Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Intermediate and advanced tutorials must include a brief section about the required level of knowledge to successfully follow the tutorial.
- Allowable formatting tags: Bold, Underline, List and Code
Tips:
- Follow accepted spelling and grammar conventions of the English Language. No "leet speak" please.
- Tutorials should strike a balance between technically informative and easy to read.
- Spellcheck!
