You need to clear the cmos this is typically done by pulling the cmos jumper or removing the clock battery. I don't have specs for where that is on the board.

Thats what you get for stealing laptops or buying hot laptops.

It sort of sounds like that, doesn't it?

T22's are a recent model. The only deal I know of is that CDW has one of them for $1650. No password is on them though. Only laptops that are stolen usually have passwords.

I answered to be helpful -the fact that it feel off the back of a truck entered my mind but I was hoping that iluvpu55y bought from an honsest individual. Also told him what to do not how to do it -figured if he was an honest person who has hacking skills he'd be able to do it.

Err.... Send the unit to IBM with the original Purchase Certificate, name of IBM reseller and location of purchase. :jester:

I'm sure with that Info IBM will be willing to help!

I once bought some CF cards at a garage sale that were still in the package and they still had the wal-mart tags on them.

Very suspicious, but the guy was selling them for about half the MSRP so who was I to complain :)

Although pu55y will be able to find the info on the cmos with that infamous hacker tool called google.
