I was reading TheRegister (http://theregister.co.uk/content/4/23979.html) and was a bit shocked about the full details of Oracle attacks.

There is a link to a paper (pdf) (http://www.nextgenss.com/papers/hpoas.pdf) that is..

Litchfield's paper should be required reading for anyone who owns or administers an unbreakable Oracle box.

another update from TheRegister (http://theregister.co.uk/content/4/23990.html)
Oracle Corp has been forced to issue security patches for its 9i Application Server and database management system: products that it had previously claimed were "unbreakable", writes Matthew Aslett.

Anyone claming that anything is unbreakable is kinda dumb if you ask me. Except for maybe a piece of titanium, but that can be broken under the right conditions also....

it must've been a publicity stunt. Oracle couldn't have really thought they'd reached nirvana.

Still Oracle is pretty good, but a bear to configure.
