hi everybody,

here is a quite interesting analysis of internet-based attacks targeted at hundreds of organziations during the last half of 2001.all these attacks were detected by analyzing more than 5.5 billion firewall logs/ids alerts.

good link. I think I had seen something similar on another thread. The numbers will soon climb to the point of instability unless action is taken.
