    PWL Decoders

    I feel like an idiot. I can't remember the name of a program that I need. It decoded the windows pwl file and listed all of the passwords on your computer. A friend of mine needs it to use is dialup account on the dreamcast. I tried google, and it seems it's the only thing that it can't find. Help me out please!

    Hmm, I didn't know there was a "decoder" for .pwl files. I have heard of these things, but never come across one, so I figured it was a myth. If anyone else has it or knows where to get it, please tell me as well. I just hope redthefed is not wanting it for any other reason than something nice like getting on through the DC, hehe.

    Ah, that happened to me before, and I thanked God that I made a "Guest : Guest" user account. Then to find my pw (and apparently the rest of the users on the PC *smirk*), I just whipped out my trusty LC3. L0ftCrack3 is probably the best program to use now. *Remembers when he used "Cain" for cracking .pwl files* ... yeah

    Can't remember the URL, just went there the other day - but I"m not bothered to find it, just search Google for LC3 or l0ftcrack or something,... something should come up.

    Yeh, actually I think it was L0phtcrack, hehe, but I remember it now. Thanks a lot for reminding me of the name. l0pht.com or whatever is different now than it used to be, so ya can't get it from there I don't think. Looks commercialized.

    their one on kazza hehe stupid ppl seriosly search .pwl in kazza u get files just stupid i think it was freeon who told me this if its not correct me

    Yeh...I discovered the .pwl thing a long while back by myself, hehe, but felt like I'd be considered dumb for saying anything about it. I was trying to show my friend Keeter when he came over one night how to exploit things, and I just came up with the idea. Anyways, sorry for my pointless explanation/story.

    You would not believe what you can do with the .pwl files from KaZaA, if anyone wants to find out just send a PM to me because I dont want to post it in the public forums, It will be too educational for the damn kiddies .....
